Actually the reason is because most watches/clocks have the brand name on the top middle of the watch and if you set it to that time, it leaves room for the name to be seen..... BUUUUUT somebody told me another and actually more interesting answer to this question; he said that the reason of setting it to that time it's because if you pay attention to 10 past 10 it reminds you a smiling face!!! I prefer this answer and you???
